How to...speed up FireFox browser

1. In Firefox, enter "about:config" in the top address bar; click on the green arrow at right.
2. You now have a long list of items under "Preference Name".
3. Scroll down to--
4. --"network.http.pipelining". Change to "true" by clicking on false.
5. --"network.http.proxy.pipelining". Change to "true" by clicking on false.
6. --"network.http.pipelining.maxrequests". Change number to "100".
7. Lastly, right-click anywhere in a blank space. Select "New" then "Integer".
8. Enter the preference name "nglayout.initialpaint.delay". Click OK.
9. Set its value as "0" (zero); exit Firefox.
